Poomse

Poomse is a series of kicks, blocks and punches that are used against imagery opponents that come from four different directions.  The practice of Poomse is used to create and strengthen defensive reflexes, develop good judgment of distance, enhance balance, coordination, accuracy, endurance, concentration, and enthusiasm.  Without Poomse there is no Taekwondo.

Basic Poomse was developed to teach white belts their first Poomse.  After Basic Poomse students are taught the TaeGeuk series of Poomse.
